Relationship Counselling in Congleton
Do your relationships leave you feeling hurt, unheard, misunderstood or disconnected from yourself? Perhaps you notice yourself losing sight of your own needs and boundaries, or feeling unsure how to communicate what matters to you. These are common reasons people reach out for counselling.
I offer person-centred individual counselling in Congleton, for people who want space to understand what's happening in their relationships. This means we cultivate an equal relationship: no one else can be the expert of your life but you. You lead the direction of each session, and I won't tell you what to do or suggest there is a right outcome for your relationship.
When relationship counselling might help
Relationship difficulties can show up in different ways: the same argument resurfacing again and again, a slow drift into silence, or a struggle to say what you need without it turning into conflict. Sometimes it's a specific relationship that's under strain; sometimes it's a pattern that seems to follow you from one relationship to the next, or a boundary you keep meaning to hold and never quite do. You might be facing a separation, or trying to work out what you want when family expectations pull in a different direction to your own. Whatever shape it takes for you, it's a valid reason to reach out.
How counselling can help with relationship difficulties
Together we can explore the patterns that may be affecting your relationships, and develop greater awareness of your own needs, boundaries and communication. This is individual counselling, so it's a space for you to reflect and reconnect with your own voice, whether you're finding a current relationship difficult or relationships more generally.
Face-to-face and online sessions
