Online Counselling
Online counselling can be a helpful option if you're unable to attend in person, prefer the privacy of your own space, or live outside Congleton. It gives you the flexibility to fit sessions around your life while still receiving the same person-centred approach I offer face-to-face.
My approach is person-centred, whether we meet online or in person: we cultivate an equal relationship, and you lead the direction of each session. I'm not there to offer advice or opinions, but to listen and walk alongside you.
What to consider before an online session
Online counselling isn't necessarily suitable for every person or situation, and it's worth thinking about whether it feels right for you. It can help to find a private, comfortable space with a stable internet connection, where you won't be interrupted during your session. Some people find it easier to open up from somewhere familiar; others prefer the change of scene a face-to-face session offers. There's no right answer, and you're welcome to try one and switch to the other if it doesn't suit you.
Getting started
I offer a free 20-minute telephone or online consultation before we begin, so we can discuss what's bringing you to counselling and how we might work together. Online sessions last one hour and cost £40. Face-to-face sessions in Congleton are also available, and you can find more detail on my prices page.
