Bereavement Counselling in Congleton
Losing someone matters to you can bring feelings that are hard to put into words, and grief doesn't move in a straight line or on any fixed timetable. Whether your loss was recent or some time ago, there's no right or wrong way to feel, and no timescale you should be measuring yourself against.
I offer person-centred bereavement counselling in Congleton and online, for people who want somewhere to bring their grief without feeling they need to be "over it" or explain themselves. This means we cultivate an equal relationship: no one else can be the expert of your life but you. You lead the direction of each session.
How counselling can help with grief
Together we can create space for whatever you're feeling, whether that's sadness, anger, relief, guilt, or a mixture that changes day to day. Counselling doesn't aim to move you through grief on any particular schedule; it's a space to be heard, without judgement, as you find your own way through.
Face-to-face and online sessions
Sessions take place face-to-face in Congleton or online, whichever feels right for you. Each session lasts one hour. I also offer a free 20-minute telephone or online consultation before we begin, so we can talk through what's bringing you to counselling and how we might work together.
Face-to-face sessions are £45, and online sessions are £40. You can find out more on my prices page.
